Corbett Studio's 20th Anniversary Season

It's hard to believe that we've been teaching oil painting classes for 20 years but it's true ... We'll be starting our 20th season in November.

As usual we'll have some brand new projects for our students and we guarantee you'll go home with a 'masterpiece' you and your friends and family will love.  Our early bird students can get a head start on our newer projects this Fall while the classes are still small; but don't worry, we'll be repeating them again in the New Year.

To commemorate this landmark season we have a number of special events and classes planned for our students and community.

Flashback Fridays

Starting this Fall we'll be bringing back some Golden Oldies...signature 'Bob Ross' painting projects we introduced in our first years of teaching. We're calling it our "Flashback Fridays" and we'll be sending more news and information about these old favorites in our weekly email Newsletters. Watch for them.

Big Secret!

One very special anniversary project we'll be introducing in January is something Fun we've never done in our classes. It's unique and it's striking...and we're keeping it a Big Secret! No sneak previews for this one.  Watch our website and weekly email newsletters for the big announcement.

Studio Open House

Also in January we'll be opening our doors for our Studio Open House...and the whole world is invited. The date is Sunday, January 26th. So come and check out our extensive Gallery of paintings, enjoy some bubbly and munchies and try your luck with a spin of our Prize Wheel. You might win a free painting class or...?

Students' Gallery Show

Best of all, we're looking forward to our Students' Gallery Show that will be held at the Apache Junction's Parks & Rec Multi-Gen Center during Valentine's week with a private Reception for Arists and Guests on Friday, February 14th.  How exciting is this!? We already have a number of students submitting their work for the show and since our event is coinciding with the Lost Dutchman Marathon Expo we're expecting a huge crowd to view our Art Exhibit.  If you want to be part of the show and haven't received your submission form yet be sure to contact us right away at:   jimyvo3164@yahoo.com

We have another Special Project in the works for the beginning of March - still putting the details together, but it promises to be a fun - and unique! - project that involves the whole community.  Watch for more details on this one!

All and all we're expecting a great season and invite all of our students - past and present - to help us celebrate.
